AWA 78 Eco Superyacht features ACCwing which is high performance flexible wing, promising naturally decarbonized “sailing propulsion”. As an eco-friendly superyacht, AWA 78 is equipped with solar panels and electric propulsion, a self-sufficient in energy yet still in a compact form. The wing is capable to deliver up to 2.5 times greater than a conventional rig, that tremendous thrust is generated by a patented variable chamber and activated by internal muscles with very low induced drag. Moreover, the drag can be minimized by the bold choice of three hulls.
Julien Boucher chose to implement ACCwing for AWA 78, this innovation would offer a new category of charter sailboat which is extremely close to a superyacht. The interior space and privacy deliver unprecedented freedom on a 78-foot vessel.
With a ratio of 12 clients to 6 crew, the AWA78 trimaran yacht positions itself as an alternative to motor yachts in terms of comfort, safety, simplicity, and service, with fewer emissions. The living space is incredibly spacious and elegantly distributed towards 6 large cabins where each one with its own ensuite bathroom. All these rooms can be compared in size to a hotel room, providing an ultimate comfort and great privacy for ship’s passengers. The lower deck and the tip of the central hull are designed for a crew of 4 to 6 who will be available for the guests.
Those four retractable rear platforms allow guests to enjoy the ocean or sun bathing through a private 60-square meters beach in a nice, cocooning atmosphere.
