Runnly Autonomous Delivery Network to Small Businesses and Their Local Consumers
Runnly Autonomous Delivery is a concept on-demand autonomous delivery vehicle network, it aims to bridge small businesses and their local communities. Designed for urban landscape, Runnly is capable to empower small local businesses, it helps these businesses by enhancing their on-demand delivery services. Of course there are other concept autonomous delivery systems, but Runnly sets itself apart by providing good versatility. It is capable to service multiple customers and businesses on a single route, it maximizes efficiency as well as reduces delivery times.
Runnly Project by Rotimi Solola, Phoebe Liandyartha, and Gus Curran-Muñoz was inspired by COVID-19 pandemic. It was very challenging time especially for small local businesses and unfortunately many of them were forced to close permanently. This project aims to provide a solution to help both businesses and customers not just for times when they can’t interact directly with their customers, but also to make it easy to deliver packages to their customers. Runnly is ergonomic and designed to have good interaction with all users, making it truly inclusive solution.
Its versatile compartments can accommodate a wide range of delivery needs, it is customizable from S (Small) to XL (Extra Large). Each compartment can be set up to securely transport various items for safe delivery. Each vehicle is equipped with a wireless charging coil, it allows Runnly to dock effortlessly between runs. The charging station is capable to charge a fleet of vehicles at a time, promising convenient hubs for recharging. Thanks to modular design, it is easy for scalability, stations can be easily deployed and expanded across the countries as needed.
