Uni means Sea Urchin in Japanese, this creature has transformed from an ordinary species into a highly sought after delicacy. Uni brings salty and sweet taste, a nice blast of umami that contrasts to its buttery softness. Uni Sushi is usually served with rice wrapped in seaweed with minimal seasonings to make sure that the sweetness of the Uni can stand out. Inspired by this marine species and the love os sushi, MING 37.09 Uni Watch has been created. It’s part of dive watch collection that reminds you of exotic marine life.
Sea Urchin has a hard shell and toxic spines that guard its beautiful orange treasure. Even though these creatures won’t be able to move by themselves, they rely heavily on currents, yet they can be found all over the world. They are scattered around the surface to the deep hadalpelagic zone below 600m, they are deep divers. MING 37.09 Uni Watch comes with 38mm DLC-coated case, cleverly engineered to ensure pressure balancing and water resistance up to 600m with a sapphire caseback. Just like the Bluefin, this watch features a rotating sapphire timing dial which can be operated underwater. This model would be the first from MING to have orange emission Super-LumiNova.
