Here’s a bundle we can get behind. Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery are teaming up on a mega streaming bundle that will package together Disney+, Hulu, and Max for one price.

The bundle will be available starting this summer, but no price has been revealed just yet.

Disney+ and Hulu together in a bundle however comes in at $9.99 per month for an ad-supported plan and $19.99 per month without ads. Max meanwhile will run you $9.99 with ads or $99.99 for an annual plan and $15.99 per month or $149.99 per year for its basic, ad-free plan. The premium plan comes in at $19.99 per month.

Disney and Warner Bros. said in a statement that the bundle will be available for purchase on any of the three streaming platforms’ websites and that you can get them as both ad-supported and ad-free.

This bundle is not to be confused with the jointly-owned sports streaming service coming later this year between Disney, WBD, and Fox. We’re still waiting on a name for whatever that ends up being called, presuming it isn’t actually called “Spulu” as the industry has taken to calling it.

“On the heels of the very successful launch of Hulu on Disney+, this new bundle with Max will offer subscribers even more choice and value,” said Joe Earley, President, Direct to Consumer, Disney Entertainment. “This incredible new partnership puts subscribers first, giving them access to blockbuster films, originals, and three massive libraries featuring the very best brands and entertainment in streaming today.”

“This new offering delivers for consumers the greatest collection of entertainment for the best value in streaming, and will help drive incremental subscribers and much stronger retention,” said JB Perrette, CEO and President, Global Streaming and Games, Warner Bros. Discovery. “Offering this unprecedented entertainment value for fans across all the complimentary genres these three services offer, presents a powerful new roadmap for the future of the industry.”

CNBC is reporting the way the deal breaks down, Disney will act as the distributor and Max/WBD will get a “fee” for every new subscriber to the bundle.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has been advocating for the streaming bundle for over a year now, explaining that one of the major challenges in streaming right now is consumers have trouble finding the content they love and want to watch. Preventing people from having to Google “Where to Watch” something or download an app is a larger tech challenge that requires real integration in streaming not unlike what people used to have with cable bundles. But that has its own headaches and roadblocks that could take years to make a reality.

But in the short term, Disney was the first to realize that a bundle helps keep consumers loyal. You’re less likely to churn out as a subscriber if it means canceling not one but two (or three if you also want ESPN+) services at once. Data from last year showed that Disney+ had the lowest churn rate of any of the major streamers at just 2 percent.

Warner Bros. Discovery meanwhile has already dipped its toes into new ways to bundle when it partnered with Verizon as a means of getting both Max and Netflix, paying for the services through their Verizon wireless bill. We’ve seen other smaller bundles throughout the industry, and Paramount+ would love to cozy up with another streamer in order to compete, but combining Disney+, Hulu, and Max is the best Disney and WBD will get to truly challenging Netflix’s nearly 270 million global subscribers.
