It looks like Lamborghini has said goodbye to the Huracán after a decade. The brand just unveiled Temerario, a hybrid supercar at this year’s edition of Monterey Car Week as replacement after Huracán. This would be the first super sports car in the history of Lamborghini to be equipped with a V8 twin-turbo engine combined with three electric motors to provide an overall maximum power of 920 CV. The design seems like a departure of sorts for the brand, yet it is clearly a Lambo through and through. The name means fierce and courageous, it’s also the name of a famous fighting bull from 1875. It has the same wedge shape that’s been the company’s trademarks since the Countach.
Lamborghini Temerario Supercar is the second vehicle in the HPEV range, it promises unique driving pleasure through performance and comfort, unique in its category. The new design style concepts deliver unprecedented customization options and connectivity like you’ve never seen before. The exterior is characterized by a new signature hexagon-shaped daytime running lights, it is a recall to one of Lamborghini’s traditional geometric shapes with a futuristic context. Framed with a new spoiler that promises function and beauty, this sports car plays a fundamental role in aerodynamic efficiency.
Temerario delivers a fresh interpretation of Lamborghini’s “Feel like a pilot” philosophy. The cabin provides the feeling of speed for both driver and passenger, it also comes with new onboard experience, providing comfort never before experienced. Longer wheelbase than the Huracán, spacious headspace in the cabin, and new “comfort seats”, driving a sports car has never been so comfortable.
Moreover, Temerario is also available with lightweight package, which is designed for customers who are more oriented towards track driving. The Alleggerita package reduces car’s weight by over 25kg thanks to carbon rims that make it more efficient from an aerodynamic point of view.
