Zeekr Transitions Service Vehicle is a concept project for master thesis at Umeå Institute of Design. Sponsored by Zeekr design Gothenburg, this futuristic project provides premium service vehicle which is designed for China in 2035. This smart vehicle is capable to provide user with a relaxing space where they can reset their mind and mood as they ride between locations and do some works in their busy lives, adding value as well as improving quality of life.
By realizing that many urban dwellers have to deal with multiple transits in their busy lives, moving from one place to another, it becomes essential to create a cozy and comfortable environment where they can relax during the journey. It is possible that in 2035, there are heavy restrictions when it comes to car ownership in China, thus, it would increase reliance on subscription-based shared vehicles and autonomous driving technology.
Huang Jaiyi designed Zeekr Transitions Service Vehicle to help individual undergo psychological recovery from previous location (wind-down), or transition from relax to professional ready to work (reactivation). In Wind-Down mode, user can transition from professional environment to relaxing one thanks to specially designed seating and multiple sensory experiences. In Activation mode, user can activate their body and mind through a fitness unit that gently stimulates blood circulation through a gamified experience. This way, user can slowly activate their focus and confidence.
