SOLLEI name is a combination of sun (“SOL”) and leisure (“LEI”), it represents Cadillac’s optimistic inspiration for leisurely lifestyle. This convertible is an electric, 2+2 vehicle equipped with Cadillac’s signature 55-inch pillar-to-pillar screen, luxurious interior, lighting chorography for arrival and departure, and of course intuitive front and rear command console.
SOLLEI is a concept convertible that re-imagines the discovery of travel, a vehicle that delivers personalized driving experience, connecting you with natural world around you. It’s a concept that celebrates Cadillac’s pedigree of elegant convertibles in a modern form through luxury design experiences.
Cadillac wants to incorporate an innovative bio-based material which is developed in collaboration with MycoWorks. The automotive manufacturer utilizes Fine Mycellium by MycoWorks for its charging mats on the console and door map pockets, it brings you a new era of luxury materials grown from mycelium a.k.a renewable root structure of mushrooms. This chosen material reflects Cadillac’s mission to use renewable automotive resources.
Bold proportions with low, elongated body, Cadillac SOLLEI Concept Convertible has long coupe door and a wide stance, ensuring easy access for passengers to the spacious rear. Those uninterrupted surfaces and stretched A-line emphasize its length, while the low tail design creates dynamic yet elegant proportions. The mid-body line connects the headlamp to the taillight seamlessly, the design unifies the car’s harmonious design. Conventional door handles are replaced with hidden buttons to create clean profile line.
