Keeping this in mind, Yuxin Gao, an industrial designer, has come up with Re-carton Wash and Go. It’s a simple education toy that encourages children to learn about the importance of handwashing.
Re-carton Wash and Go is a board game made out of cardboard boxes used to transport supplies. After supplies are used, that empty box has certain patterns where children can cut them out then assemble them into chessboards and chess pieces. The game is designed to instill proper hand-washing in children, while also training hands-on skills. It’s simple yet this toy makes up for a lack of beneficial toys where these children live. This project is also a good way to recycle boxes in environmentally friendly manner. It’s a smart and practical solution to enhance the functionality of a cardboard box.
