Skip x Arc’teryx MO/GO Pants feel just like another pair of hiking pants, except these pants provide you with a special feature. These pants come with a powerful boost when you need it the most. This set of pants is equipped with exoskeleton that provides power when you trekking up or down hills/mountains. While you wear Arc’teryx pants, the Skip’s powered exoskeleton would light up and boost your legs up to 40%, making you walk lighter and faster while moving up upward.
When you go down, MO/GO gently supports your knees to prevent you from slipping or exerting too much effort. The goal of this project is to help user lessen their muscle fatigue and joint discomfort through augmenting their quadriceps and hamstrings. The wheel of MO/GO conceals the motors of the powered exoskeleton pants. As you move, the wheel spins or turns depending on the movement, it triggers boost needed for the trek. The motors deliver more power to user’s leg muscles, this wearable can be helpful for those who need some extra help when dealing with muscle weakness or cardiovascular fatigue.
MO/GO Pants come with a rechargeable battery pack, it lasts for about three hours on a single charge, it will provide optimum assistance during intense uphill walking. Hikers can always choose a low amount of power assistance for smaller inclines, it won’t use up the battery too much. The minimalist interface makes it easy to operate, there are only three buttons: on/off, more assistance, and less assistance. Simply turn it off when you don’t need any assistance at all.
