Would you wear this watch? Cone-shaped watch wants to bring postmodern architecture onto your wrist. Postmodern architectures are characterized by curved forms, asymmetry, decorative elements, and vibrant colors. These buildings often borrow signature features from earlier periods. For this project, colors and textures are chosen independently for building’s structure or function.
Paul Kweton uses this project to humorously recreate iconic building shape and transform it into a watch. Postmodern Cone Watch features a case that looks like a miniature cone, it is complemented by an oversized cylindrical crown. It looks ridiculous, but would definitely attract all eyes on you. It’s not just a watch that tells time, it’s an architecture on your wrist with blue dial and black hour and minute hands.
